As I type this, my two dogs are happily playing together under my feet & desk. They look like two normal dogs playing! One is a 7 pound mixed breed male & one is a large border collie. The bc was a pound rescue. He was just under a year old when I got him. Not knowing better at the time, I took him for his vaccinations. They treated his as if he had never had any- full rounds & boosters of everything. Within three months, this dog that had been loving and sweet to dogs, cats, people, etc. became extremely dog aggressive. If he saw another dog, he would literally flip out and attack in a rage. I tried obedience classes- that was a nightmare! He just got worse & worse. Finally, I found the 'magic trio'- raw feeding, no vaccines & homeopathy. I enlisted the help of a qualified homeopath (Magda) and she began treating him. It has taken a full year, but he is cured! The proof is in the melee that is happening under my feet at this very moment!
Yesterday, my 9 year old daughter took this dog for a walk & a rottweiler came out of nowhere, charging up to her as if to attack. She said Red (the bc) got between her & the strange dog to protect her. But he did not attack, he merely stood his ground & postured until the other dogs owner showed up to call it off. I hate to think what might have happened a year ago!
